Commander Cooper's Birthday!

So, on Saturday, Steve's birthday, we decided to drive down to the not-so-plain Plain City, Utah for our great little guy Cooper's birthday party. It has been so long since we've been down there. (We have been greatly appreciating everyone just coming up here to us this summer.) It was a nice long drive with the beautiful children who silently decided to see who could be the loudest. (Three way tie) We got to Steve's brother's house around 5:45 p.m. & that party went strong until after 9:00! (Pretty good for a 3 year old's party!) It was such a great time & I feel very strong about Stacie going into the party planning business! Some good money could be made the way she works things!

It was a duck hunting party for the cute little 3 year old duck commander. Guests all wore camo and had faces painted. They had a great time playing in Uncle Brett's hunting boat, shooting Nerf guns at targets, playing Pin the Feather Tail on the Duck, a ring toss which involved tossing the rings over duck decoys placed in a wading pool complete with cat tails & all, and of course a very special cake with Commander Cooper 's very own picture on it & topped off with Root Beer Floats! WOW!

-Gage poses in the hunting boat with the birthday boy-

Hayden opted to have a flower painted instead of the hunting camo make up. -Surprise!-

But I have to say that my favorite part of the evening was when the always prepared & very thoughtful Stacie brought out a birthday cake for Steve! A very memorable carrot cake that has been one of Steve's "favorites" since he was younger. It was a truly memorable weekend & we would like to thank Casey, Stacie & all of the other family members there for making that happen! Love ya all!
