It was a really fun Halloween night this year! We were done and home by 7:30 p.m.
Party animals, I know. Some might call it lame but I like to think of it as efficient! The elementary school carnival is usually on Halloween night, putting us home at about 10:00 p.m. after trying to fit in all the fun, but it was changed this year to the night before. So we hit that on Thursday night and then set out
trick-or-treating on Friday at about 5:30. We always start at my Grandparents' house in town because it's a good central location and it's what I did all growing up. Hey, why change now? We then usually go to the few houses of the people we know around there and call it good, but
this year we went all out and let the kids hit
every house they could within about a 5 block area,
both sides of the street,
two different streets. And after filling their buckets to the top, Hunter and Steve went through the
Spook Alley on Main Street. Hunter thought it was the greatest thing ever! Steve was pretty impressed himself.
I didn't have the most cooperative children in the picture taking department,
surprise, but did manage to get at least one picture of each of them.

"Sharpay" from High School Musical

And of course...Spiderman!
