Deck the Halls...Not Each Other!

The kid's have their own 3-foot Christmas tree to decorate with decorations that they have made and collected over the years. It is quite the diverse little tree including Hello Kitty, Star Wars, Sesame Street, Disney Princess, South Park, Dora, Toy Story, handpainted Santas & snowmen and of course the precious ornaments made at school with pictures of the kids in them.
They did a great job until the tree tipped over.
After blaming each other for the incident and my refereeing skills being put to use - again, we balanced it out a bit and I begged for 30 extra seconds from them for pictures...and viola!
Christmas 2008!

HA! Love the title, love the pictures- and that is the best idea, having their own tree to decorate and then you still get to make yours nice and pretty. I think we'll have to do that. And the bear in the background gives it a nice touch. Also, love the ho-ho-ho-ing from Gage. What a fun post!

No, I don't ever have to tell him to give a cheesy smile...He does that one all on his own! :)

I'm so happy to see your tree! Did you arrange the new furniture so that you can gaze at the tree. yeah right, it's aimed at the TV. I changed my background today as I was posting and then I visited yours, and they're the same...good taste must run in the family. The kids are cute and I like the tree but I like the basement best, I can't wait to get a new house. Eric says Christmas 2009 will be in our new house - it better be! Wasn't that bee e-mail crazy!

Very nice idea with the kiddo tree...why didn't I think of that?? I just let the boys put their ornaments on first then I covered them up with mine...what an awful mother I am.

See you all in a few!! Hey, I hear you're not staying here?? WTH?? You afraid you won't get any sleep with my two little munchkins running around??

I'll have to remember to give a shout out to Gage on his B day! The sidebar wouldn't have happened w/o your help. Is your tree a half tree? Are ya up for painting over break, I'll help if mom will watch the girls, like I'll even have to ask!
