Christmas Eve:
Ever since my memory (or what's left of it) goes back, I remember having Christmas Eve with my Mom's side of the family. We draw names, exchange gifts, eat a lot and have a really good time!
Hunter got Hot Hoops from Jordan and Annie

and joined the "cool" group in the family :0)
Hayden got a new shirt with a sparkly butterfly necklace from Aunt Reeca
And a cute picture with Aunt Reeca (Hayden's favorite pen pal)
Grandma and Grandpa's:
Hayden got a new shirt with a sparkly butterfly necklace from Aunt Reeca
And a cute picture with Aunt Reeca (Hayden's favorite pen pal)
Gage got a new Spiderman jacket, also from Aunt Reeca (Sure to be a permanent fixture along with the blue Nike cap)

And Santa even made a last minute stop to the building next door to us which featured a huge Christmas village display. Gage aparently figured this was his last chance to make his request and got the nerve to sit on the Big Guy's lap and make his Christmas wish(es)

Christmas Morning:
Gage was amazed at the sight of his graineries and insisted on carrying them around

And when he opened his articulated dump truck, he started singing and dancing, "I got it, I got it, I got it!"

Hayden got Sharpay in her pink convertible from High School Musical 2, a new Littlest Pet Shop VIP and books, books, books

She also got a couple of new mini Bratz dolls with a cute little fold up house for them

Hunter got Rockband for the Wii (entertainment for all that will surely bring future posts!)
A new hunting bag from Steve that carries his shells and dead birds (Eeewww!)

And one of those new age shirts with the three sleeves!
And one of my favorite family gifts was a book that I had put together from snapfish.com. It has some of the highlights of our 2008. This will definitely have to be a Christmas tradition.
Grandma and Grandpa's: We then braved the winter storm and headed up to my parents. Mom had cinnamon rolls and juice and of course, a lot of gifts!
Hayden got the Polly Pocket Fab-tastic mall and her hair streaker. She sported pink and blue streaks for a few days after.

Gage got the airport that goes along with his Geo Trax train set

Hunter got a new skate board and ramp

Great Grandma and Grandpa's:
Next, we made our way in to my Grandparents' house for the best Christmas dinner ever! This is one of my favorite Christmas traditions! Everything was so perfect!
Hunter got a huge bucket of bubble gum to go into his new gum ball machine. He also got the Flytech Bladestar and electronic Monopoly.

Gage got his extremely loud forklift that he's very proud of!

Hayden got her Stylin' Studio that downloads onto the computer, takes a picture of her (or anyone) and then she can give herself a makeover

I think it's safe to say that the excitement of Christmas coming and the excitement for Christmas being done is about the same. It is always wonderful, but definitely good that it only comes once a year!
