As for me, I was a Can-Can dancer in our production of "It's a Small World" where one of the students lost his little pet bird and had to travel around the world looking for it.
Hunter's show was "America's Story" and he was a soldier in the Civil War, complete with prop cannons and guns. He still remembers part of his dance. I would love to post pictures of him but those were pre-digital camera days for us.
Hayden's play this year was "Wackadoo Zoo." This was a zoo that had birds that roared, bears that meowed, zebras that barked and so on. It was a cute, cute show and I am so happy that I was able to help with it. I taught the butterfly dance with Hayden and 9 other wonderful little girls. Every instructor probably would say they had the best group, but really, I truly did! They were awesome!

They danced to a Disney song titled "Part of the Heart of the Sky" that sang about a caterpillar who couldn't wait to grow up to be a butterfly. The girls signed the chorus and it was really cool.
After they danced, they sang a song along with the sign language. They all did such an awesome job!!

Wow, how cool is this? What a fun tradition! Cute costumes too! Does the whole school do it or is it just one grade?
