Hunter had baseball tournament this last week and they did very well! They had their shares of struggles through the season and had to go "the long way around" through the tournament but made it to the championship game and ended up taking 2nd place!!! I really think that every single boy had his own moment to shine at least once during the tournament. They played hard and it was so fun to watch...through rain, wind, rotten coaches from the opposing team, not-so professional umps who weren't even sure of the rules-and wouldn't bother to check, 8:00 a.m. games that the boys had to be to at 7:30 a.m., double headers that lasted until 9:30 p.m. and all of the other good times! Seriously though, I do love watching them play and am a bit sad that it's over. A big thanks to all of the family that made the trek down to support Hunter throughout the season!
Thought about swinging but decided against it. (Good thing, it wasn't a very good pitch)

A big smile after beating the "not-so undefeated" team - again - and making it to the championship game

Receiving knuckles and his trophy from the coaches
