Arts and Crafts Time

I enrolled Hayden in an art class as part of a summer rec. program in Rexburg this summer. She got to learn different things about shape and texture, angles and positioning, the color wheel, perspective, warm and cool colors and whatever else she could use that imagination of hers for. Trust me, the possibilities are endless with her...

On the last day of class, they were able to present their creations in the art gallery for family to come and see before taking things home.

This is her picture of the Tetons done in watercolors and a platypus put together with different shapes of scrap paper
And as I was helping her take down her pictures, Gage was getting that artistic bug and came up with his own art work...we call it "The Smiley Face."
