Gage Goes to School...Inside!

Gage had his first day of preschool on Wednesday. He was so excited to go to Hayden's big school because he got to go to class "inside!" (Versus that outside school he was going to before...?) It didn't bother him that I was leaving him there, but he did want to make sure that I was going to go out and sit in the car and wait. And I know he's got a personality all his own, but it was quite interesting to hear about his first day:

*His favorite part was playing with a school bus there. (Which he probably farmed with)
*He loved having Allie there with him!
*The one little boy with brown hair threw up on the floor and in the garbage can. (Ummm...)
*The teacher read a book to them about a little boy who ran down the sidewalk naked because he was so excited about school. (Anyone heard about that book because I'm dying to know the rest of the story?)
*And he doesn't want to go back because "it was hot" and "it made his head feel like it was going break." Plus, he "needs to get cutting grain." Oh my!

That is the cutest little description of a day....EVER!!! The throw up a is a little bit of a bugger though. I can still see that nasty stuff they use at school to sprinkle on the barf. Ick.

As for the book...could it be "No David??? I runs naked down a street..."

YES! The mystery book was "No David." I asked him a little bit more about it and boy, did that start a conversation! I was so impressed that my little guy listened to the story so well, he just chose the "temporary amnesia" way out that first day.
