One Week Ago Today...

...Hayden Sue turned 9! This is one child who counts down for almost an entire year, anticipating the event with such enthusiasm and letting eVerYoNe around her know that it's her day!

We woke up extra early that morning to open a few of her gifts before the bus came.

Which included a new hoola hoop... ...that everyone tested out...

...yes, everyone...
...like I was actually going to include a picture of me, almost 8 months pregnant, hoola hooping! Come on, seriously.

When she got home from school, she opened the rest of her things.

A PiNk child-sized Snuggie with matching slipper socks. Does life get any better? That evening, Uncle Jordan & Aunt Annie brought Jace, Allie and London to help celebrate with cake and ice cream. (They were also "celebrating" their 5-year anniversary that day. How romantic...6 kids, in-laws, chocolate cake, chocolate frosting and chocolate ice cream. Who could ask for more on this milestone of an anniversary? But on a serious note, thanks so much!)

And then the next day after school, we invited every single girl in her class (all 7 of them) to 511 Main Pizza for chocolate milk shakes and chocolate cupcakes. (I promise, the "chocolate theme" was Hayden's idea. I just do what I'm told and don't complain. ;)
