What happens when a computer crashes?
Blogging does not get done!
And so while we were patiently waiting...
Guess who had a birthday and turned 5?
This cutie!
Grandpa Gary pulled some strings and got a new Case tractor exactly like their real one. I asked Gage later if he was surprised when he opened it and he replied, "No, because when it was wrapped, I knew it was the same big as what the tractor in the box at the store was." So he wasn't surprised when he opened it, nor was I too surprised when he was awake at 6:15 a.m. the next morning, farming the living room carpet.
And he is now completely qualified to be the next Iron Man should Robert Downey Jr. ever need some assistance.
We celebrated at McDonald's with cousins Jace, Allie and London.
And then the next day, we celebrated this guy's 12th birthday.
He asked for a can of olives...
...and a box of Honey Bunches of Oats with cinnamon clusters. (So easy to please! ;)
Among a few other gifts, he also got a new BMX bike, fully equipped with...
"...Shocks. Pegs. Lucky!"
He was also "lucky" enough to get this...
...and this...
...and this pretty little reminder of what happens when someone throws the baseball to the wrong person during warm ups. Hunter had no clue the ball was even coming at him. He was standing there talking with the coach when BAM. (Anyone else thinking of the Brady Bunch here?) I thought for sure the swolen nose would be followed with two black eyes, but he really did get "lucky" there.

It was pretty special last Sunday because my dad was just put in as Bishop of our ward and Hunter was the first to receive the priesthood under him. So memorable for both of them.
I'm lovin' my birthday boys!

HAPPY late birthday to both of them! I'm sorry. They are both super cute and good kids too. Hoot man, ouch on the nose! And yes, I was totally thinking of The BB :-) Gage, love the costumes.
Happy birthday to both of them. It looks like they both had great days.

Okay, are you having as hard a time with 5 as I am? I can't have a 5 year old already! But I guess you're probably having more anxiety over the 12 year old. Seriously! What the...
He was just a baby when I first met him...how does this happen? Don't they know they're supposed to grow slow?
