Gage's Tag

Gager Monster was tagged for a self profile thing. How fun. He is my one and only Gage. (Some days, I couldn't handle more than one of him...) He is such a hyperactive child at times and other times, so mello that I can't even believe it. Great to sit and hold, when he allows it. Here are 10 things about him:

{1} He lives for FarMiNg! When Uncle Jordan had the tractor and equipment parked by our house, he just HaD to touch it. Steve had him one morning when I was gone, so took him out to do just that. He even took pictures for me. (Thanks dear.)

He is in all pictures. It's a "Where's Waldo" thing with Gage.

{2} He is Sooo accident prone. If he could get hurt, he will. At 6 months, he fell off the kitchen table, hit a chair, then slid to the floor, fracturing his skull. About 3 weeks after that, he was crawling around and decided to see what was inside the fire place, while it was burning. He leaned right up against the glass. He had a great big burn on his forehead for Christmas. Where was I? The first time, with the head fracture, I was sitting a foot away from him. I just couldn't grab him in time. And when he burned his head, I was going to the bathroom. This was all just a prelude to what would come...besides the Health & Welfare Family Services. Seriously.

{3} He loves his brother and sister. He asks me about 7 times a day when they'll be home from school. They are great entertainment for him, (and me.)

{4} He loves to pretend he's a cat. And when he's not a cat, he's a dog.

{5} When he counts, he AlWayS forgets 5 and 6. He practices slowly with me and gets it, then on his own..."1,2,3,4,7,8,9,10."

{6} He answers "good" to everything! Steve thinks it's great fun to have him do this. He'll ask,

Steve: "How are you?"

Gage: "Good."

Steve: "What's new?"

Gage: "Good."

Steve: "What did you do today?"

Gage: "Good."

He is also going throught the "why" stage - again. When I asked him to stop asking "why," he giggled and said, "Why?" Um...because I said so!

{7} He hates going anywhere without combing his hair. He will yell, "Oh mY HeCk! We forgot to comb ours hair!" Other favorites are "Oh my crud," and "Oh crap!"

{8} He has learned to pop a wheelie on his bike and he can also ride a 2 wheeler scooter. I would say he just up and learned this himself, but do to the fact that he has to do EveRyThiNg Hunter does, we'll give this credit to him.

Is "figure scootering" an olympic event?


{9} Gage has not only dialed 911 once, but twice. On separate occassions no less. It wasn't just a redial incident. The dispatures are really good at returning the calls in a timely manner to make sure everything is okay. Good job Fremont County!

• Favorite color: "Red, blue, pink, purple, tractor, and yellow." (He calls green 'tractor' and brown is 'dirt')


• Favorite tractor: "Green." (With a "duh" tone to the answer.)


• Favorite place to go: "Here." (?)


• Favorite movie: "Uh...Spiderman."

We call you "monster" but at least you're MY monster! I wouldn't trade you for the world!
