On Your Mark, Get Set, Farm!

Everyone has a shadow. Sometimes you can see it, sometimes not. For Jordan, he has one that is there no matter what light he's in. And if he ever loses that "shadow," he can be sure that Grandpa Gary has it for him. And this little "shadow" of his is in faRm h-e-a-v-e-n!

The combines are finally here! I know that break downs are never good, but if they are going to have problems, thanks for having them right here in back of our house! This morning has been bigger than Christmas for Gage! While Dad was getting parts and what not, Jordan took time and did the little things with Gage at his side.

While Jordan cleaned the outside windows, Gage got the inside nice and dirty.

Then I went out to remind Gage to go potty. He laughed and said, "Okay, I'll pee off the combine ladder!" Hey...whatever it takes. (Sorry, no pictures.)

He then took me on a combine tour. He knew so much that it only led me to imagine what poor Jordan & Dad have to listen to while driving with him. "What's this?" "What's that?" "Why?"

I particularly like the second little picture above. That's when he was pointing out, "...and this is Jordan's pop."

I don't know how this farming gene became so strong in my little boy, but WOW! When he's a teenager, he won't ask for the car keys, he'll ask for the......whatever starts a combine.
